The location was perfect, just a short stroll to parks and the river. Loved the chill vibe by the pool. it was so relaxing. The decor had a cool, artistic touch that really gave the place character. Plus, the unique architecture of the hotel made it a standout stay.

I had a great single-night stay, loving the chic room with a balcony and the delicious turkey club from the restaurant! The pool area was so inviting too! Can't wait to come back!

I stayed at the Carpenter Hotel for 4 nights in a Standard Queen Room. The location was super convenient, easy access to local spots. The hotel design is quirky and charming, really liked the aesthetics throughout. Unfortunately, the service wasn’t great. I had a rough check-in as the staff seemed confused and didn’t offer any apologies for my late arrival due to a flight delay. My room felt dirty upon arrival, with a bandaid left on the floor. The phone in the room to contact reception didn't work, forcing me to use my personal phone for help multiple times without response. The pool area was disappointing. it looked unkempt and the towels were stained brown. It's a shame because the hotel has potential, but the staff could definitely step up their game.

The hotel is a short walk from Zilker Park, where my kids loved the playground and riding the little train. Plus, they welcomed our pet, making it an awesome family getaway. The communal spaces were fun, especially with a record player for some great music vibes.

In my wife’s opinion, they should improve room service speed.

The pool was fantastic for chilling out, and I loved having my own balcony to soak in the view. My stay was delightful with the calming views of the nearby Umlauf Sculpture Garden and the walking distance to Zilker Metropolitan Park, perfect for afternoon strolls and enjoying the outdoors. the overall vibe of the hotel was stylish and inviting, which made my experience even more enjoyable.

The hotel had an artsy vibe that made every moment enjoyable, especially chilling by the pool surrounded by lush trees. The restaurant was a standout, with some of the best meals I had while here, and the coffee shop was delightful. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including complimentary passes to a local gym. However, the lack of on-site fitness facilities was a bit disappointing, and the gift shop, while cute, had limited options.
